A Note From The Chef:
The Southwest Chicken Bowl consists of pan seared spiced chicken with cilantro lime jasmine rice, salsa the contains black beans, tomatoes, red onions, roasted corn and oven baked whole wheat tortilla chips.
The Southwest has consistently become one of the most popular dishes on our menu. The southwest theme definitely makes this much more tastier than a simple chicken and rice meal.
A meal that is low fat is best utilized pre and post workout. In regards to preworkout, this is so because prior to training you want a meal you can quickly digest, so as not to hinder your workout. In regards to post workout, studies have shown you do not want a meal high in fat because again, it can slow digestion, therefore delaying absorption. After your workout is the time you want easily and rapidly digested nutrients to fuel recovery and growth. In our menu, there are 3 meals blue printed to this spec, and they are all flavored drastically differntly. Who says eating clean has to be the same stuff over and over?
