A Note From The Chef:
The Chimmichuri is a South American herb dish that originated in Argentina. It consisted of a blend of olive oil, fresh herbs, garlic, and an acid (lemon, vinegar, etc.) My version is fresh parsley, fresh cilantro, roasted garlic, red wine vinegar, salt & pepper. I first pan-sear the marinated chicken then finish it in the oven. Once it's finished I top the chicken off with the chimmichuri and let the flavor of the chicken intertwine with the flavors of the chimmichuri
Chicken breast naturally flavored with herb's and cooked to perfection by a professional chef. The rice and green beans really tie in with all the other flavors. Delicious, well balanced & clean up free.
A meal that is low fat is best utilized pre and post workout. In regards to preworkout, this is so because prior to training you want a meal you can quickly digest, so as not to hinder your workout. In regards to post workout, studies have shown you do not want a meal high in fat because again, it can slow digestion, therefore delaying absorption. After your workout is the time you want easily and rapidly digested nutrients to fuel recovery and growth.
